Managing control panel production and improving the manufacturing process. Create documentation and correct schematics to update panel design and improve employee training. Editing PLC programs to fix bugs and add custom features. Specifying new hardware and editing existing programs to work with that hardware, in order to complete new equipment builds in response to various supply shortage issues.
2017 - 2021
>Full equipment testing of mechanical, network, and automation equipment. Loading, configuring, and updating various automation components of different models and manufacturers, including VFD's, routers, HMI's, control components, and PLC's. Lead tech for a car wash app service; requiring full setup of vpn network, ip cameras, and dashboard integration. Assisting in maintaining office network and server backup system. Inside lead on implementing new ERP system; transfering company data, configuring custom settings, and laying out new internal company procedures.
2012 - 2017
Drawing machine parts and full assemblies in SolidWroks. Designing subcomponents to help implement larger design changes or to decrease manufacturing cost. Creating full layouts in AutoCAD to provide technical details for new site construction. Interfacing with Architects and Contractors to spec out electrical and plumbing requirements from project beginning to equipment install.
October 2009 - 2011
Producing subcomponents and assemblies through machining and welding. Assiting with ERP paperwork and system management, tracking inventory, modifying BOM's for custom equipment configurations. Building various types of car wash equipment; eg., wash briges, pump stations, spray wand assemblies. Installing and starting up equipment in the field.
Studied Maths, Physics, Drafting, and Programming with the intent of transferring to a school offering a full engineering degree. Despite the interruption caused by the Recession, I have pursued continuous learning independently and through extensive on-the-job training.
